Active-only Electronically Controllable Floating Positive and Negative Inductance Simulators

This article reviews 2 circuits, which are electronically controllable active-only floating positive and negative inductance simulators. Each floating inductance simulator comprises merely one operational amplifier (OA) and one current conveyer transconductace amplifier (CCTA). The simulated inductance values can be controlled electronically by adjusting bias current of the CCTA. The circuit performances are depicted through PSPICE simulations, they show good agreement to theoretical anticipation. Some applications in RLC resonant and inductance cancellation circuits are included to confirm the usability of proposed circuits.
